You MUST be at least 18 to get tattooed.
No exceptions.
Tattoo aftercare:
Remove the bandage after two hours. If the dressing
sticks to skin, wet the area with luke warm water and the
remove the bandage carefully.
Once the tattoo is exposed, wash it thoroughly with a mild
antibacterial soap and water . Make sure to remove all
surface blood and rinse off any remaining soap.
Do Not re-bandage the tattoo.
Do Not apply Vaseline or any petroleum based products.
Do Not apply alcohol.
Do Not rub, scratch, or pick at the tattoo.
After washing the tattoo, lightly pat dry, make sure your
hand are clean, and then apply a small amount of
ointment/lotion. (We suggest Ink Fixx, Fruit of the Earth
or Luriderm)
If rash occurs discontinue use and contact us.
Do Not apply a heavy coat of ointment; your skin must be
able to breathe.
Do Not expose the tattoo to direct sunlight until the end
of the healing period, after the healing period is over,
you can use a high SPF sun block if the tattoo is going to
be exposed to sunlight.
Do Not submerge under water (pools, Jacuzzi's, lakes,
rivers, streams, bathtub's, etc...) until the end of the
healing period.
Do Not expose the tattoo to a sauna until the end of the
healing period.
The sun, water, chlorine, etc.... all act as a bleach to your new
tattoo and will ruin it.
Depending on the nature and extent of you work, it may be
necessary to wear clothing heavy enough to protect your
tattoo, particularly if you work around grease, oil, dirt,
metals, etc.....
Be sure that any clothing that comes in contact with your
tattoo is soft and clean.
Your new tattoo will develop a layer of dry skin . Apply the
ointment/lotion as needed to keep it moist.
Do Not let your tattoo dry out.
After the dry skin had fallen off, there will be a period
of adjustment for the new skin. It is advisable to use a
lotion during this time.
The healing period usually takes about Two weeks, but may
vary.
The health and well being of your new tattoo is your
responsibly once you leave the studio.
Follow the above instructions and take care of it and you
will have vibrant and beautiful life long tattoo.
